Daily Deal: A 2-For-1 Workout | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

Daily Deal: 2-For-1 Workout Gear

Written By: Katelyn Chef

We all know the feeling: You’re pumped-up and getting ready for a workout. Maybe you’re headed out the door for a run or off to do some yoga, but first you have to change into your workout gear. And let’s just say that your tired, old sports bra is a little less than inspiring.

No worry. The trusty Victoria’s Secret Angels are here to help you on your way with two perfect (and perfectly affordable) options. We’re after The Player Racerback and The Player Cami, which would be perfect for the gym or just for errand running. Might we recommend the Marl grey color? After all, it does go with everything.

And, thanks to the two for $49.50 deal, you can get two quality (not to mention sexy) sports bras for less than $50. Sounds like a Daily Deal to us.

What We're Wearing: Wide-Brim Hats | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

What We're Wearing: Wide-Brim Hats

Written By: Robin Reetz

Nothing screams FALL quite like a floppy, wide-brim hat. A good floppy hat will keep you warm in chilly weather, cures a bad hair day, plus adds a little touch of attitude to any outfit. (Seriously: Throw on a wide-brim with jeans, a white tee, and booties and your entire outfit is made.)

Here are a few of our favorites:What We're Wearing: Wide-Brim Hats | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

And to help you on your way, here are a few things to consider when look for a wide-brim hat:

  • Make sure your hat is either made of either wool or felt. Straw won’t cut it for fall temps, Chicas.
  • Fit is paramount. If you plan to buy a hat online, be sure the retailer you’re ordering from has an easy-to-use return system.
  • Don’t forget about color! For best results, try a hat that will contrast with your hair color.

Trend Alert: Wear-With-Everything Capes | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

Trend Alert: Wear-With-Everything Capes

Written By: Katelyn Chef

Aside from the shift dress, there’s another easy-to-wear fall fashion trend that we are particularly on board with: the cape.

The cape is similar to the poncho, which was a big trend a few seasons back, but there are a few differences – capes are simpler than ponchos, meaning there are usually no sleeves or extra details. A good cape should be easy, breezy, and effortless—just toss one over your shoulders and you’re ready to go.Trend Alert: Wear-With-Everything Capes | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

Welcoming a cape into your fall wardrobe is something we highly recommend for many reasons. For one, it’s an effortless, comfortable way to look casually chic. Also, there are tons of affordable capes available which means you won’t have to cut into your Pumpkin Spice Latte budget.

We love the this woven cape from H&M ($34.95) and Forever21′s Refined Cape in black ($32.99).  You could also get cheeky with a checked cape from Topshop which is slightly pricier at $64.

Whichever you chose, you’re sure to be on trend this season thanks to the cape. How will you wear yours?
