Daily Deal: Old Navy's $25 Pixie Pants | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

Daily Deal: Old Navy's $25 Pixie Pants

Written By: Robin Reetz

Transitory weather makes for great fashion moments, don’t you think? We love the layering, the light jackets, the cuffing, and everything in between when it comes to fall and spring outfit planning.

Whether you’re cuffing some skinny jeans or going with a pair of ankle-length pants, there’s no better fall outfit than cropped pants, a button-down and sandals or booties, depending on the weather. In our oh-so-humble opinion, that is.

In today’s Daily Deal, we found a PERFECT pair of ankle-length pants at Old Navy. The Pixie Ankle Pant is available in 13 different colors and prints and is only $25 for a limited time.

We’re thinking about stocking up – starting with polka dot, of course. Which will you buy?

Look for Less: Juicy Couture for Kohl's | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

Look For Less: Juicy Couture for Kohl's

Written By: Katelyn Chef

What’s velour, sparkly, and Juicy all over? It’s the new Juicy Couture collection, of course, now available at Kohl’s locations nationwide.

If it’s been a while since you’ve dipped your toe in the Juicy pool, let us catch you up: The California-based brand was started back in 1997 by business-savvy best friends Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor and found incredible success in the early-mid 2000s with their velour jumpsuits.Look for Less: Juicy Couture for Kohl's | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

Fast forward to 2014 and the pair is now following in the footsteps of other major designers (Vera Wang, Lauren Conrad) and turning their luxury California mega-brand into a more accessible line.

But not to worry, Juicy fans – the brand’s clothing, shoes, accessories, and bedding will be just as juicy. The good news is that now you can score Juice Couture at prices that are much more wallet friendly – all clothing hovers around the $50 mark.

See you at Kohl’s, Juicy fans!

Daily Deal: Target's $22 Textured Mini Skirt | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

One of the biggest trends of the fall season is the textured mini skirt. Aside from the fact that a textured mini can be worn on a variety of occasions (they’re actually very versatile) and apart from the fact that they’re just plain cute, we’re also excited about this trend because it’s super affordable.

There’s really no need to break your budget for something like a mini. Affordable retailers like Forever21, ASOS, Kohl’s regularly offer cheap, chic mini skirts – and in today’s Daily Deal Target is proving our point by offering an under $25 version of the on-trend textured mini.

Available in both classic black and – our favorite – black and white stripe, the Pleated Circle Skirt is only $22.99 and perfectly on point for fall. Whether you rock yours with sandals, low booties, button downs, or chic sheaths, this skirt is about to be on permanent repeat in your closet. Now that’s what we call a Daily Deal.

Trend Alert: Nail Polishes We Need For Fall | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

A mega-important part of your fall look that often gets overlooked is nail polish.

Maybe you didn’t bother with a mani this summer – what, with all the swimming, sand, and sun – but now that cooler weather is well on the way you need to make sure your nails are polished (literally)…and fast.Trend Alert: Nail Polishes We Need For Fall | The Cheap Chica's Guide to Style

We’re super obsessed with navy nail polish in Ryan from Zoya ($9), and we’ve been rocking Dress To Kilt ($8.50) since Labor Day, and are contemplating a purchase of the Essie Fall 2014 Mini Cube Kit ($17).

We’re equally obsessed with Sally Hansen’s Triple Shine Nail Color ($4.59) and are switching off between Sparkling Water when we’re feeling bold, and Oyster Bar for a more subtle shine (it’s also great for layering).

Of course if you prefer a nude nail, you can’t go wrong with Nostalgia ($18) by Jin Soon – it’s our stand-by nail color, no matter what the season.
