My latest obsession has got to be over-sized clutches. I love making a statement with my bag and what better time to make a statement than in the evening.
Eva Mendes combines my obsession with one of spring’s hottest trends for spring, all things printed, with this floral Prada clutch.
Florals are also a spring favorite and I love how she mixes this funky clutch with her signature retro style.
Oversized clutches make a major statement and can elevate any outfit. But, mix it up like Eva and try and find something funky and quirky! But its not only florals, there are so many cheap yet chic printed clutches out there…I am lovin’ styles in this season’s uber popular tribal and watercolor and prints.
Check out this 1970’s inspired look…so hot for spring…from Express for just $29.90! The great thing about this trend is that anything goes…just have fun!
One of my favorite places to shop for quirky pieces is Etsy check out some of my pick from their website here!

What girl doesn’t dream of owning something Chanel…or in my case everything Chanel? They own simple, effortless, and classic and right now I am obsessing over their signature two-toned footwear– seen on everything from boots to heels and most recognizable, their ballerina flats.
Prada, another fan of the two-tone, showed their models stomping down the SS2011 runways in their own take on the trend as well! But with prices over $500 for their anything from these two houses, I will have to keep on dreamin…or so I thought.
I walked into Gap the other day and to my surprise, they have an amazing version of the two toned flats that are so perfect–and they look expensive just like the designer originals. And Gap’s price tag? A very budget friendly $49.50!!

They offer two colors: classic beige with a black toe or camel with a coral toe. I went with the camel pair…which will be so cute for spring! Both colors are patent leather and come in half sizes so the fit is fantastic. They also have a little extra padding inside so they’ll keep your feet comfy through the entire day!
Socialite Olivia Palermo rocks the famous Chanel flats with black pants and a cream sweater and manages to look GORGE! The good news is that this kind of look can work for anyone…just pair your flats with a pair of dark skinny jeans a comfy (and warm) sweater to exude easy, effortless, chic style–just like Coco herself!

No matter which look you are going for 20’s flapper or 90’s grunge, there is a Hat out there for everyone. The key is to find the right one for your head, hair, and style. Hats do more than just cover up a bad hair day, they can set off a certain kind of confidence in a person.
There are so many inexpensive choices out there that will enhance your wardrobe. The best part is they can go with multiple outfits, which means you get your moneys worth. A hat can transform a good outfit into a great all around eye catching look. My favorite hats of the moment are anything Fur of course, and the cloche. With the roaring twenties coming back in full swing there is nothing more Gatsby that a Cloche Hat.
If you are a dedicated hat person it might be worth putting the money towards having a milliner make you a hat, but if you’re a girl who loves to follow the hat trends but doesn’t have a ton of money stick with ASOS, Urban Outfitters, and Forever 21 for now. Try out all the choices from Classic to Comfy: felt cloche, snap-brim fedora, slouchy felt gaucho, Panaima, aviator/hunter cap, turban, fur, beret, and knits in all shapes and sizes. Be Bold and try one on!

I love, love, love Piperlime- mainly because they have FREE shipping and returns on all orders, but also because everything is so damn cute!
They have a lot of fantastic apparel but they are really know for their shoes and accessories in all price ranges. One of my favorite well-priced lines they carry is Hive and Honey…
Their entire line of footwear and accessories is noteworthy. Their products are on trend and effortless. They can work for every girl ranging from romantic, to vintage, to edgy and everything has a glamorous feeling to it.
I seriously want everything for fall! Every piece in this collection looks luxurious and will really freshen up your whole wardrobe for the new season.
Even if you pick up one piece it’ll be worth it. I adore these oxfords for fall with a full skirt and tights. Also, try these pearly accents with a tee shirt or this wrap bracelet for a casual and affordable edge!

UPDATE: It seems like these have sold out. Here are some other options if you like this bow trend! Flats, Pumps and Wedges! All under $30!
Better hurry up on this one, ladies!
Not only are these peep-toes by Victoria’s Secret fave Colin Stuart beyond adorable, on-trend (shoes with bows… just you wait, soon, they’ll be everywhere!), and go with everything in your summer wardrobe…
… they also have a wedge-heel that you can (gasp) actually walk in, and they are currently on sale for $36.99! Let me put it this way: *I* just bought a pair! Basically it boils down to this: you want a cute pair of sandals that are trendy, not uncomfortable, and affordable….
Well, your wishe(s) have been granted…this is a fab deal if I ever found one… !

I am obsessed!
I really do love with this two-toned look that is everywhere now thanks the heavy safari influence this summer, and the fact that canvas is involved means it’s a trend that’s pretty affordable too!
I think we can all agree that paying $198.00 for this Cole Haan stunner to the left is… not that realistic…
But never fear, I’ve found a variety of budget-friendly options, including this adorable tote from Urban Outfitters below, for only $58.00!
I also love how this look is at the same time trendy and functional…

And I must say, this is certainly a great summer bag that you can transition from work to play, especially considering it’s a cross-body!
I even found a few smaller options that are well below $50.00…
There really is a range of options out there…
… and I can picture them all paired up perfectly with white jeans and a soft tee …
… definitely brown sandals and some bangles. Oh man… it really is the ideal compliment to almost any summer outfit!

Let’s face it: we can never get enough of flip-flops. They are always THE choice for spring and summer, and rightfully so, as they look extremely cute with… everything, on or off the beach.
So now that we know we’ve got no-fail footwear as far as look goes, we can focus on comfort.
Which is why this cute pair from Banana Republic caught my eye.
These sandals feature something called memory foam and a cushioned insole (topped off with super-soft leather!)… essentially meaning extra padding that molds to your feet so you can wear them all day long and not sacrifice any comfort…
Even better, the Mazzy model comes in three versatile colors that go with everything (my choice is for the shimmery Oro, above, but they also come in black and chocolate brown).
If you want the benefit of the foam, but a bit more embellishment, go for Mazzy’s cousin, Markie. Same comfort, but with a touch of top-stitch for a bit of added flair.
Don’t you just love it when style and comfort get along? Oh, and did I mention they are under $40.00? I’ll be snagging a pair of these ASAP!

This spring, the best accessory to complement with your spring whites and creams has to be a gorgeous, bold bag.
This truly is the perfect way to offset a spring color palette that is just begging for some contrast; and it’s also an easy way to glam up your favorite comfy casuals, as seen here with Sarah Jessica Parker.
I love this trend too because it’s an excuse to really go for that bright yellow bag I’ve always wanted, but never bought for fear of impracticality… or some silly thing like that…
In trend-time, we’re at a point where it’s the more rich and the more colorful, the better (or the complete opposite!). I think though, that if you are going for a more daring shade, it might be best to keep it a solid and if you’re still a bit doubtful, just make sure your bag’s design incorporates some sort of classic design element. It’ll be the perfect balance.
I’ve picked out a few very fab finds for you below, in a variety of colors and many of which are under $50.00…
And yes, in case you were wondering: this means that neons are acceptably up for grabs now!

Girls… you have so many options with this trend! Initially, I thought I would narrow it down to either rings or necklaces, or bracelets… but I just couldn’t. As I was searching for options I told myself: since when is there a trend that is this broad and this accessible at a variety of price points?
Faceted stone jewelry: it’s everywhere, and in every form. Take your pick! I love this trend teamed up with everyone’s favorite, the statement necklace, like this truly show-stopping Austrian crystal piece above from Max & Chloe… on sale for $60.00.
If you’re looking for a cheaper options, fear not! You can find faceted stone goodies everywhere from Forever 21 and J.Crew (Crew is offering up some gorgeous, classy bracelets, and a LOT of them, most marked down: the one below will only set you back $24.99!) to… well, the runways.

I’ve found a bundle of cute options for you below, in all forms… all around $40.00 and many under $20.00! If you really want to buy on a budget when it comes to this trend, I’d recommend going with a ring. Asos has several fun options (some below), most of which are in and around $10.00 or $20.00.
Another one of my favorite buys is this ring from Aldo… for only $12.00!
Wondering what to wear with your faceted stone goodies? Whelp, that’s just as easy. Spruce up a casual ensemble with a bit of sparkle to add allure or rock an oversized piece with your favorite LBD for a chic, more sophisticated look. These pieces are incredibly versatile!
I have an amazing faceted necklace in white enamel that I’ll wear one day over a t-shirt, and the next with a mini-dress. I mean, come on… how can you not love that?

Yes, I had (and might, in some ways, still have) some serious doubts. This is a tricky trend, but I will say this: there is a cute way to wear clogs that will not automatically render you 1994–for example, Mary Kate Olsen in her Chole clogs pictured here! She looks so stylish and summer-y that it inspired me to look for some that I’d actually consider buying!
Now, I know this budding trend is definitely still a bit below the radar, but that gives you all the more time to spot the perfect pair that fits both your feet and your budget (psst: the ones below were featured on Glamour.com and are only $34.00!)…and then decide what the heck you’re supposed to wear with them.
Clogs, and what I will call clog-inspired footwear, were definitely popping up on the Spring 2010 runways (Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton), so here’s the thing to remember: if you’re not quite daring enough to go full-on clog, try a clog platform sandal or sling back. We’re not talking about Crocs here. Believe me, you can do it.
How cute would a pair of platform clog sling backs look with a pair of cut-off shorts or jean skirt, relaxed tee and your favorite statement necklace? Or with one of spring’s flirty floral-printed skirts, white tank and jean jacket?
And wait, I’m also seeing them with distressed boyfriend jeans and an itty-bitty tank top. All sounds pretty cute, I’d say.
And they said it couldn’t be done…
