One of the most exciting things about spring for me are all of the delicate, feminine touches that this season brings. Every spring pastels return to the runways and I die for them. I love a pastel dress, but this year, I can’t stop eyeing pastel jewelry!
I was passing through Macy’s the other day and the new arrivals in the Macy’s Collection Jewelry totally caught my eye…it was all fresh pastels! The selection featured pastel blues, mint greens, and pale pinks in every style.
Unfortunately, when I looked for these styles online they weren’t available on their website, but if you’re at the mall, stop by a Macy’s to check out these CheapChica approved picks.
Luckily, Macy’s isn’t the only store carrying this trend! One of my favorites Stella and Dot features girly pastels like this amazing statement necklace for spring…but its way out of my price range ($228) so I’ll probably go with something smaller like this coral bangle for $69 and this classic turquoise beauty for $59!
Want more? Some of my staple fashion jewelry stores, LOFT and Forever21 have a TON of great stuff for under $25!

Inspired by the classic Tupperware party, Stella & Dot uses women to sell their jewelry at home and online. They have been around for a few years now and have been featured in mags In Style, Lucky, and even Oprah. With reasonable prices…check out the under $50 section…everything on their website is trendy and beautiful and perfect for someone on you gift list!
Celebrities like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Debra Messing have been loving these styles. Their website features necklaces, charms, earrings, bracelets, rings, and even a line for little girls!
They have it all…looks that are bold and chunky to delicate and casual. I have my eye on this colorful set of wrap bracelets and this ring for upcoming holiday events.
With the holiday rush just around the corner, beat the crowds and shop Stella & Dot’s Holiday Gift Guide. They have handpicked some of their best looks for your mom, sister, grandma, daughter, best friend, and everyone in between! Bonus: They feature free gift packaging with every order!
I will be shopping the under $50 section for some chic holiday gifts. Seriously, they make holiday shopping a cinch! I’m sure you will be adding multiple items to your holiday wishlist.
PS: If you’re interested you can sign up to be a stylist and host a trunk show. But, I think I will stick with browsing online.

I love, love, love Piperlime- mainly because they have FREE shipping and returns on all orders, but also because everything is so damn cute!
They have a lot of fantastic apparel but they are really know for their shoes and accessories in all price ranges. One of my favorite well-priced lines they carry is Hive and Honey…
Their entire line of footwear and accessories is noteworthy. Their products are on trend and effortless. They can work for every girl ranging from romantic, to vintage, to edgy and everything has a glamorous feeling to it.
I seriously want everything for fall! Every piece in this collection looks luxurious and will really freshen up your whole wardrobe for the new season.
Even if you pick up one piece it’ll be worth it. I adore these oxfords for fall with a full skirt and tights. Also, try these pearly accents with a tee shirt or this wrap bracelet for a casual and affordable edge!

Girls… you have so many options with this trend! Initially, I thought I would narrow it down to either rings or necklaces, or bracelets… but I just couldn’t. As I was searching for options I told myself: since when is there a trend that is this broad and this accessible at a variety of price points?
Faceted stone jewelry: it’s everywhere, and in every form. Take your pick! I love this trend teamed up with everyone’s favorite, the statement necklace, like this truly show-stopping Austrian crystal piece above from Max & Chloe… on sale for $60.00.
If you’re looking for a cheaper options, fear not! You can find faceted stone goodies everywhere from Forever 21 and J.Crew (Crew is offering up some gorgeous, classy bracelets, and a LOT of them, most marked down: the one below will only set you back $24.99!) to… well, the runways.

I’ve found a bundle of cute options for you below, in all forms… all around $40.00 and many under $20.00! If you really want to buy on a budget when it comes to this trend, I’d recommend going with a ring. Asos has several fun options (some below), most of which are in and around $10.00 or $20.00.
Another one of my favorite buys is this ring from Aldo… for only $12.00!
Wondering what to wear with your faceted stone goodies? Whelp, that’s just as easy. Spruce up a casual ensemble with a bit of sparkle to add allure or rock an oversized piece with your favorite LBD for a chic, more sophisticated look. These pieces are incredibly versatile!
I have an amazing faceted necklace in white enamel that I’ll wear one day over a t-shirt, and the next with a mini-dress. I mean, come on… how can you not love that?

Feeling a bit daring? If you want to make a statement in a place other than your neck this season, turn to your new best friend: the two-finger ring.
Hard-edge rendered feminine by a wise use of materials and design, I think sporting one of these is a bold choice that can also be curiously… understated. Depends, like all jewelry, on what kind you fancy…
I’ll admit it: I had my doubts. But when I saw Erica Anenberg jewelry sale going on Ideeli not too long ago, I checked it out and saw a gorgeous sterling-silver plated two-finger ring for under $40.00, so I went for it.
Yes, I lucked out, her rings usually go for about twice that and up, but I am willing to bet this trend will only grow in popularity and more affordable versions will start cropping up in no time.
I’ve found some nice choices for you below, all under $100.00, and one under $20.00. This playful LOVE piece above from Asos is only about $14.00!
You may have your doubts too, but keep your eye out for these, (they’ll be in all forms, shapes and sizes) and try one on. You might just be pleasantly surprised… I was!

It started with the oversized necklaces. It was a perfect way to sport a pretty daring trend in a more understated way … that is, with Lucite. Shortly after, I started seeing it pop up in the form of bracelets and in other more unexpected places like accents on bags…
It seems like right now, Lucite’s everywhere, and that’s certainly worthy of F.A.B. mention. Because here’s the secret: Lucite? It’s basically plastic. It just somehow looks better. So that means… it’s affordable. Take this adorable necklace to the left from New York and Company … that is only $24.95!
While Lucite technically comes in many colors, a majority of the items I’ve seen are clear, which I love because the piece looks so fresh. Just be mindful of wear and tear that can cause the glossy surface to start … lacking a bit of luster.

If I personally had to choose, I’d invest in a crazy-big Lucite necklace (make sure to keep it limited to one accessory so you don’t overdo it), because it’ll go with, well, everything, and it’s a great way to partake in the “statement” craze without going off the deep end.
Although for a close second, I must say that the frosted Lucite bangles I saw at Lord and Taylor (see gallery below) are an adorable idea for spring…
Oh, and might I add how cute a lovely Lucite piece will look with your neutral-toned outfit come April? Just saying…

In composing this week’s F.A.B. Report, I became frustrated in trying to decide which incredible oversized necklace from my favorite new website, Shop4Sparkles.com, to feature as the “the fab-est” of them all if you will, when I suddenly had a punk rock moment, threw up my hands and said, “I can’t do this! I’ll just have to include them all!”
This is my way of communicating to you simply how amazing and affordable the selection of uber-trendy accessories this site has, especially when it comes to the must-have accessory of the moment: the statement necklace. Not only were they all the rage for Fall ’09, they are clearly here to stay well through Spring ’10 and in fact, trend forecasters are predicting that 2010 will only bring necklaces that are bigger and badder than before, often paired with gargantuan earrings to match. Now that’s a lot of look!

I discovered Shop4Sparkles thanks to my guilty pleasure du jour (yes, the list is long): trash mag rags, especially Life and Style, where the site was featured. It was this multi-stone sparkler above that first caught my eye as I was flipping through the magazine, but when I checked out the site in its entirety, I found that to my delight, Shop4Sparkles is a veritable treasure chest of hip jewelry and accessories (bags, watches, etc.), most of which goes for under $50.00–this gorgeous jade shard necklace is selling for only $13.00…
Talk about FAB! I don’t think you’ll be surprised to know that I scooped it up, PRONTO.

Make sure to offset your oversized accessories with casualwear that’s more relaxed (unless you really want to resemble the Queen of England) and/or understated in order to add some allure and ever-important contrast, but other than that, just sit back, relax, and let these babies do the talking for you.
You’ll be turning heads left and right.

Chain-link accessories are huge right now, so it’s no wonder why lately I’ve been spotting tons of chic chain-link bracelets popping up all over the place.
Going with a bracelet (versus a necklace) might also be preferable if you want to jump on-trend but want to avoid a look that’s too hard or heavy. When it comes to a bracelet, the chunkier the better I say!
I especially like this one to the right by everyone’s favorite Newlywed, Jessica Simpson. It’s kitschy while being classic and it will only cost you $25.20!
If you want a look that’s more edgy, I’d recommend this silver one from Marc by Marc Jacobs bearing an always fabulous oversize toggle closure (my favorite!).
And finally, if cuffs are more your thing, you can go for this slightly bolder piece from Forever 21 above …which goes for a whopping $5.80!
See, no matter your taste or your budget, there’s a little chain-link love out there for everyone.

Um, yes please…I’ll take all of them…and especially that claw cuff! Her pieces were not only featured in the New York Times, countless editorials, and in a recent slew of Gap ads (adorning the wrist and ears of Carine Roitfield’s daughter), but they were also spotted this weekend on the runway at the Yigal Azrouel show!!!
