I think Bea Arthur and the ladies from The Golden Girls would be ecstatic over the recent style that has risen from the dead! I love the show the Golden Girls, but I couldn’t help but notice that every time these women “went out on the town,” they were literally dipped in colorful sequins…I suppose that is the 80’s for you!
Anyways, much to my amazement, as I was doing my weekly frolic through H&M I found the store to be dipped in sequins as well. The more pieces I picked up, the happier I became!
When a woman walks into a room wearing sequins, she stands out. She is the object of every simple-minded person’s attention who has a love for shiny things (me being one of them) and I am a firm believer that sequins equals confidence.
So all you Blanch, Dorothy, Rose and Sofia’s out there, go buy yourselves something sparkly and live this trend to the fullest!
