It’s almost time for one of the best shopping events of the year…LUCKY Shops New York! Each year one of my favorite magazines gathers the best brands in fashion and accessories for one fabulous (and frugal) event where you can save up to 70% off retail (just in time for your Holiday shopping)! This year is sure to be better than ever and I’m so excited to get to share it with all of you…
Two (2) very lucky readers will be entered to win VIP tickets to the event just by following and tweeting @luckyshopsny and @cheapchicas. Tweet us what designer you’re most looking forward to saving on and you’ll automatically be entered to win. VIP tickets get you exclusive access to the red carpet opening gala– an amazing event full of music, food, giveaways and of course, designer deals. You’ll also get to shop the sale from 6-9pm BEFORE it’s open to everyone else! And you know what that means…first dibs on all the good stuff!
Now in case you don’t win, you can also purchase tickets to the event but be sure to use code cheapchicas at checkout to save 15% off the price!
And remember, this event is in New York City–so local entries only! Good luck and I’ll see yall there!
Can you imagine how incredible it would be to actually be at Paris Fashion Week. I’ve been watching some of the shows online and while they’ve all been very impressive they saved the best for last. The Louis Vuitton show this morning was pure theatrical magic.
Instead of your “been there done that” catwalk, models floated around a dreamy white carousel showing off the best for Spring 2012. And as if that wasn’t amazing enough, Marc Jacobs had Kate Moss end the show. Pure Parisisan Perfection (well, with the help of a Brit and an American!)
Inspired by all of this French fashion, here’s my take on one of the most classically French patterns…stripes! I decided to add a little sass to this MNG by MANGO collectionneck tie sweater by mixing it with a striped midi-skirt, some very Chanel-esque heels and ladylike gloves.
This is the kind of outfit I’d love to wear sitting outside a cafe people watching and feasting on pastry after pastry…thank goodness for stretchy but chic fabrics, right? So…how would you style your stripes?

This week we’re heading to one of my favorite cities in the world…MILAN. Inspired by all of the fashion history and tradition there, I’ve styled one of my Fall must have (this amazing leather jacket from the MNG by MANGO collection at jcpenney)! This is exactly how I would wear it if I were to ever find myself in the Italian fashion capital!
I don’t know about you but I’m not quite ready to give up my maxi dresses just yet, so to make them Fall-appropriate, add a leather jacket, tights, ankle boots and hot jewelry. Now your maxi looks Milan-ready! For details on where to buy any of these items – click through to my Kaboodle Styleboard.
And you can be a part of all this fashion faboulous-ness too! Just visit Elle.com to sign up for a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Barcelona to visit the MNG by MANGO studios with a fabulous group of bloggers and myself!

I’m so excited for today’s episode of The Nate Berkus Show! I’m going to tell you the classic must-have items that every woman needs along with the new Fall must-buys that will help you get a months worth of looks for less than $5 bucks a day! Don’t forget to tune it!
It’s finally here…for the next few weeks I’ll be posting weekly style challenges inspired by some of my favorite European cities and the amazing MNG by MANGO collection at jcpenney. First stop…LONDON!
When I think of London, a few style icons come to mind…Sienna Miller, Kate Middleton, Alexa Chung…but they don’t quite live up to who I consider the ultimate stylish Brit…Kate Moss. Over the years, we’ve seen her grow up both professionally and personally and now I think she’s really hitting her style stride.
So for my London challenge, I choose this boho-chic peasant blouse from MNG by MANGO to build my Kate Moss-inspired look around. I love the whimsical print and the ruffle details…and I knew this would be the perfect blouse to wear with wide-leg jeans, super high platforms and of course, loads of beaded necklaces to finish off the look.
To see how this look, looked on me, head over to LillianaLoves.tumblr.com for the final outfit pic!
Now if you want to be a part of this MNG by MANGO mission with me, you can! One very lucky reader will win an all expense-paid trip Barcelona to visit MNG by MANGO studios with a fabulous group of bloggers and myself. All you have to do is visit Elle.com to sign up…what are you waiting for?!?

The CheapChicas team is off to the beach…well, not literally but we’re taking a much needed weekend off for Labor day so we’ll see y’all back on Tuesday!
Summer is winding down, but its not over yet. These wedges are the perfect item to rejuvenate your wardrobe for the rest of the summer. And they’re so cheap you won’t even feel guilty about wearing them for two months!
Fit: Perfect fit! I love Steve Madden! Their shoes are really well priced for the quality and this pair is no exception. I can wear these for hours without feeling a thing.
I have gotten so many compliments on them and others asking me where I got them. I got mine at DSW, but online you can find them at Journey’s or Zappos (Journey’s is $20 cheaper!).
Shopper’s Notes: I love these shoes in the Natural color I have. They go with everything and have been totally versatile. However, the other day I saw someone wearing them in the Khaki (pictured above) and thought they looked so chic! They looked almost army green, which is a color you can never go wrong with. With so little summer left, I’m sure these will be able to transition into next summer, so wear them while you can and hope next summer comes fast!
Over the last two years many of you have asked me to post what I’m wearing or encouraged me to do daily outfit posts on the blog…and while CheapChicas.com wasn’t really the right place for it, my brand new tumblr blog Lilliana Loves… is!
I’m so excited to share what I’m wearing with you and get your feedback (good or bad) and hopefully inspire you to have your own adventures in fashion! And any advice from all you fabulous personal style bloggers is much appreciated.
I hope this new blog enhances your experience with CheapChicas and gives you some insight into my personal style choices and how I love to dress for work, play or just for fun!
XOXO, Lilliana

If you’re a loyal reader of this blog you know that I like nothing more than shoes (ok, maybe Chanel bags but who can afford those?!) and lately I’ve been taking notice of all the fabulous shoes Michael Antonio has been adding to it’s collection.
I love how they’re able to capture the latest trends at such an affordable pricepoint and whenever I’m looking for a special show that can’t possibly existfor under $500, they surprise me!
Case in point, these gold linen pumps with a fabulous metallic platform…very Gucci like, no? I love neutral shoes but sometimes you want neutral with a punch so when I saw these for only $49 I had to have them!
And in case these aren’t what you’re looking for here’s a few of my favorite styles that won’t break the bank and you can see the full collection here!
