Known for mixing the perfect balance of masculine meets feminine style, Alexa Chung has us lusting over her latest ensemble.
Her look was a study in polished and chic at the Annual British Designer Collective, in London, when she sported a floral Celine skirt and Nicholas Kirkwood penny loafers.
Her pairing of muted neutrals with a vividly colored mini is the perfect combination as you transition your wardrobe into Spring.
Steal her style with this floral skirt from Forever 21 for only $14! You can opt for basic black like Alexa or if you’re feeling daring, make it a statement piece by mixing prints! The versatility (and price!) makes it a great addition to any wardrobe!

The rise of the colored denim trend has created a monster…I have a complete and total addiction and I now need to own denim in every color except blue.
Luckily for me (and you!) the trend included every color under the sun and for spring the palette includes sherbet colored shades (totally wearable even for a color novice) and my personal favorite neon (a major risk, but so much fun).
After many try-on sessions, I came across these fabulous mint colored Twill Skinny Jeans from Forever21 for under $16! They fabric is super soft and stretchy and reminds of me the much pricier J Brand Japanese Twill styles that I’m also equally obsessed with. For such a budget friendly price, I couldn’t resist and I scooped up all four hues!
The lemon colored shade is by far the boldest but it also looks almost identical to the Hudson Skinny Jeans, Jessica Alba was recently spotted in, priced at $154!
And if you’re still on the fence about trying this trend, for only $16 bucks I can’t imagine a better way to test drive the colored jeans trend and see if they’re right for you…

There are a few things that I’m mildly obsessed with when it comes to jewelry…namely, designers like Erickson Beamon, DANNIJO and Pamela Love.
I love the way they these designers make each piece a conversation starter and how each and every element of is so carefully thought out. They tend to mix unexpected elements with beautiful details to create one-of-a kind jewelry…
so you can imagine how excited I was to find these earrings designed in the same vein as my faves for a fraction of the cost!
At first sight I thought these were mistakenly placed on the Charlotte Russe website but CR has really up’d their jewelry selection lately and these are the proof! They combine one of Spring’s hottest trend (NEON!) with skulls and who doesn’t love that?!
For the very budget friendly price of $6 you can buy one for yourself and one as a gift for your BFF (they have a 2 for $10 deal happening now…as if you needed another reason to buy them)!

When it comes to Winter four words sum up how I feel…I’m so over it! Everyone always says “oh isn’t it so nice to live in a part of the country where you get to experience every season in it’s majestic glory”?? The answer is no. I don’t like seasons, I only like 80 degrees and blue skies as far as they eye can see…you know, Southern Cali weather.
During my days spend pining for Spring I’ve also been shopping for my soon-to-be Spring wardrobe and on my list this year is an updated trench. No more tan for this girl…this season I want something different and fresh and this denim trench just happens to be it.
It’ll look oh-so fabulous with the soft, sorbet colors we’re seeing for the new season and its just has such a cool 70’s vibe to it…oh and you won’t believe the price!

UPDATE: I know these have sold out, so here’s another great option for only $29.99!
I’ve been watching so much football with my husband lately. Those crazy announcers always make their picks, so this week in honor of the NFC/AFC championships coming up, I’m putting my money on…coral jeans!
Trust me, these will be the must-have jean of the Spring so if you don’t own them you need to get them and this pair from F21 is an amazing deal for under $25. You can find them elsewhere selling for up to $200, but after much research, I still think this version is the best one I’ve seen so far!
But if you order them online, pick them up in your size and one size down. They seem to run slightly bigger than traditional F21 sizes. This way, you can just return the ones that don’t fit–BTW, if you order from F21.com they WILL give you a full refund if you return via mail!
This will save you from the dreaded “oh no, they’re sold out and now I don’t have my right size” moment and me from the emails asking for help in trying to locate them!

I was able to score a FABULOUS faux-shearling jacket last year at New York & Co and I haven’t seen anything come close to being as cute until I saw this…
There’s no room for another one in my closet but if you’re looking for this style of jacket, this is the one to get. And it’s on sale for $59! As if you needed more reasons to buy it!

Now that it’s officially fall I go into boot mode. Thankfully I purchased about ten pairs last year so there’s no need to add any to my very large collection, but now I need some new items to go with them and lately I’m obsessing over long-sleeve dresses.
I love that on a cool day I can get away with wearing them with ankle or knee-high boots and once the temperatures get a bit colder, I’ll add wool tights to keep me warm. I’m a total dress girl (my closet is full of them) and while most of the dresses in my closet are Summer/Spring frocks, I’ve been adding quite a few long-sleeve numbers to help round out my collection.
This dress in particular has been one of my favorite purchases so far this season and it’s something that I’ll go to on days when I don’t feel like getting dressed but still have to…and it’s the perfect fall neutral, navy! The print makes the dress a little more interesting and it’s thin enough that I could also layer it under a chunky knit sweater or over a blazer which is how I’ve been wearing it. I also love that it incorporates the sheer trend which happens to be one of my favorites right now!
For under $25 you really can’t go wrong…and don’t forget to swap out the belt for something a little more adventurous…I paired my dress with a bright yellow patent one!

There’s a shoe trend making the rounds on all of NYC’s most stylish women and I’m happy to report this trend is not only fashionable, but functional as well!
Flats have really gone the distance…every season they keep getting better and better and this season is no exception. I’m in love with the velvet loafers I’m seeing everywhere and while I would never spend $275 on this pair from J.Crew, I would spend $26!
Lulus.com (one of my absolute favorite sites) has these three styles (leopard is out of stock at the moment) on their site and I need to add them to my shoe wardrobe ASAP!
These shoes look great with a skinny jean and they’re such a fun update to my classic ballet flats.
One of my favorite fashion girls, Olivia Palermo has been spotted wearing her Stubbs & Wooton’s everywhere…with tights, dresses, skirts, black pants and of course jeans.
So while at first sight these might be best left in the bedroom, give them a shot and take them for a chic spin outside!

I will be honest, I am one of those rare Fashionistas who wears very minimal make-up. You give me a good mascara and a bit of lip gloss and I am in heaven, all that matters are those killer shoes and handbags. However as of late I have become obsessed with all things make-up. It’s as if the five-year old in me has re-awakened and all she wants to do is experiment with color and what better place to do this than at Sephora.
During my latest 8AM visit to the Wall Street Sephora, I discovered what has to be the must have make-up palette for all Fashionistas, The Allure Beauty Editor Palette by Sephora!
The palette consists of 5 mini-palettes which are made up of 6 eye shadows, one blush or bronzer and a non-sticky lip gloss, yes ladies non-sticky. It also includes one carrying case which fits all the mini palettes and can be thrown in your work tote or your evening clutch. But hold on it gets even better the value of the palette is $150 however it is being sold for $34.00, is this a bargain or what?
And the best pat is that the palette has colors for every season, so you will not have to buy make-up for a very long time. Whether you are just beginning to experiment with make-up (like myself) or are a make-up junky, you must get to Sephora as soon as possible and purchase this palette, you will not be the least bit disappointed! Have fun experimenting with the beautiful colors and don’t be afraid to try out new looks for the upcoming season!

It’s been so hot lately that the only options I have in the AM are a dress or a skirt…so anytime I see a skirt that could go casual to dressy and look super cute at the same time I’m sold.
I’ve been scooping up skirts during the J.Crew sale but none have been as cute as this Forever 21 one. I love the texture, the length and to be perfectly honest, I plan on wearing it exactly how the model is…with a super light weight denim shirt. And while it may seem a little “western” with all of the Southwest style love we’re feeling around here, it may just be on of my go-to summer outfits for the rest of the season!
Oh and of course we left the best part last…it’s under $20!
