Going Green!

by Ann Whitbeck on October 11, 2012

On a recent shopping trip, I found myself drawn to any and everything GREEN! It seems I have forgotten about the powerhouse color. Not too bold but not too subtle, green is making a comeback.

I’ve always been a huge fan of bright, Kelley green but this season it is all about forest.  In order to make this color feel fresh and modern, choose pieces that help enhance a trend. For example, this show-stopping dress from Zara for only $35…I love mixing this tougher color with a more feminine peplum.  Also from Zara, this cable knit sweater for again, $35! Pair this sweater with skinny coated denim leggings and you have yourself the perfect Fall outfit!

Another great piece that combines Fall’s two hottest trends, (leather sleeves and color blocking) is this fabulous jacket from Piperlime. So unique, so versatile, and for only $89 it is a total steal!! You can also work forest green into any outfit by adding it as an accessory. My personal favorites are these chic booties from Aldo…another great (less expensive) option are these velvet ankle booties from Charlotte Russe for a modest $42!

Check out some other fabulous options below, and remember you can go (forest) green in your house, your home and your wardrobe!!
