I have searched hi and lo for the perfect cross-body bag…I wanted something that I could also carry as a clutch, that had an adjustable strap (I’m only 5′0″ so they’re always too long on me), that would hold everything I needed for 1 day w/o being too large, that was classic enough to last years, that came in a a buttery soft leather, that would go with everything and that could make a statement on it’s on.
Now since my list was looooong, I gave myself a larger than normal budget to find a bag that would fit the bill. And while I did find many that could work, there was always something missing…and when I’m splurging, nothing can be missing! Even the entire handbag at Barney’s couldn’t meet my needs so you can understand how excited I was when I walked into my local J.Crew at the Cherry Hill Mall and discovered the Tillary bag.
It meets all of my requirements AND it’s under $110, so get yourself to a store ASAP if you’re looking for this kind of bag. They are available online for even less ($99.90 on clearance) but they only have poppy and coral- my store had Kelly green, hot pink and the color I got, a beautiful purple-y royal blue!
I can already tell it’s going to be my go-to bag this Fall and many Falls to come! Now what should I buy with all the money I saved….???

My petite daughter was given a Miche Petite from her grandparents, The longer strap easily fits her 4′11″ frame, and she loves her Camila, Margo, and Vera shells. I would recommend it to other petite fashionistas!
