Look of the Week: Colored Jeans

It’s really rare that an item of clothing keeps me up at night dreaming about ways to wear it and  thinking about how cute it would look for (fill in the blank) occasions…well, this pair of Rag & Bone jeans that Cameron was spotted wearing in Miami did just that.

I saw this picture in US Weekly a few weeks ago and have spent the last few days trying to find them in my size…when I finally did, the fit was a little off and given the very expensive price tag, there was no room for error.  If they didn’t fit like a glove (like they do on her) I wasn’t shelling out the cash for them.  Luckily, I came across the Haute Hues section on the J Brand website!

They have every color in the rainbow, so whether you prefer your colored jeans a little on the neutral side or you’re ready for all out bold (how amazing are these cobalt ones?) they have something for you!

There might be some sticker shock associated with these, but if you’re anything like me and have serious problems finding jeans that fit your body, you know that when you find a pair that fits, you scoop them up!

Now if you’re an easy fit, there are plenty of budget friendly options out there…Forever 21 has great neutral colors that I would buy in every color…they’re perfect for the Spring!  Urban Outfitters is also behind this trend and has yellow, blue and even berry colored jeans that look just as good as the pricey ones!

So you’re probably thinking…now that I have them, what in the world do I pair them with??? Well you have two options–follow Cameron’s look and stick with neutrals or go bold and take your cue from Jil Sander’s Spring 2011 collection by color blocking with another bright! Either way, this is hands down one of my favorite trends for the new season!
