Beauty Must-Have: Rosebud Salve — The CheapChica's Guide to Style

Beauty Must-Have: Rosebud Salve

Picture 12This is one of my favorites.

In fact, this might be the most affordable beauty item in my makeup bag.

Sold for in and around a whopping $6.00 (depending on where you snag it), Rosebud salve… is so, so awesome.

Let’s face it, everyone wants supple, glossy lips.

I mean, who could say no to this dewy look? But put DOWN the 30-dollar lip-gloss, girls, and for God’s sake, pick up some Rosebud salve.

RS has the texture of a petroleum jelly, but pink, and with an extremely faint floral scent. Wear it alone (my fave), or wear it over your favorite shade, this stuff is versatile...

Have a patch of flaky skin? Yup, you’ve got Rosebud salve for that too. Dry cuticles? No problem…

Yikes, spilled hot coffee and got a burn (yes, speaking from personal experience)? RS is the answer. Seriously, keep this stuff in your bag, use it as you please… it’s a lifesaver and a supersaver at the same time.

Call it jazzed up Vaseline (in an adorable tin and also available in flavors like strawberry and minted rose, might I add!) if you must…

I call it the go-to beauty product for a fabulous gal on a budget…

I LOVE this stuff & have been using it for years! I wish they would make it in a tube for more hygenic reasons! I hate having to put my fingers in it!!! :\

I actually really don’t like the Rosebud Salve… I find that I have to keep applying it to my lips every 30 minutes or so, and that they don’t do much to keep them moisturized. :( Sadly, to me, it’s really just glorified Vaseline. I keep it on hand, though, since I haven’t finished my first tin, because it IS good for super dry skin and burns and things, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a lip balm.

I love Rosebud Salve! I bought the strawberry scented one for my sisters and I this Christmas and have been addicted ever since. Such a great buy!

I always see this at Sephora, but have never tried it. Next time I’m totally adding it to my shopping bag.

i love this stuff too i always keep a jar in my car just in case, but i hate how fast it melts especially around this time of year. It’s def a must have item but just be sure to keep in a room temperature area!

I also love this! My morning routine isn’t complete without it— also looks great over lipstick to give it just the right amount of gloss!

Love this product. I put it on my eyebrows after they’ve been waxed to ease irritation and redness.
