Target is the answer to every CheapChica’s prayers, right? No question the place is heaven-in-a-superstore…
I never in a million years would have thought I’d be able to buy Alexander McQueen, Rodarte, Jean Paul Gualtier, etc. while at the same time stock up on toilet paper and rice krispie treats!!!
But I have to admit IMO, the past couple designer collections have been a total snooze…but never fear the current batch of big names will not disappoint. We’ve already seen the magic of Zac Posen but this past weekend, two more of my all time accessory faves debuted their lines Target….Cynthia Vincent and Eugenia Kim!
In the words of Rachel Zoe…BANANAS! I seriously don’t know where to start. Cynthia Vincent’s line of platforms and sandals are truly out of this world…hence her international inspiration with exotic prints and embellishments.
They are the kind of shoes you see on that amazingly chique girl getting off the plane from somewhere and you can’t explain what it is that makes her and her outfit look so unbelievable and then it hits you…it’s her shoes!!!
Next on this list is Eugenia Kim, the woman who brought hats back on the map after J.Lo wore her floppy brim to the American Music Awards back in 2001. Since then, we’ve never looked back, big brims and fedoras are here to stay!
Her Target line is inspired by a “Cuban vacation” (um, hello, who wouldn’t be inspired by a Latin vacation?) has the perfect pieces to take any spring or summer outfit to the next level.
And all of this magic is offered at amazingly good prices so check it out and let Target take you away!!!
PS: If you’ve picked something up from either collection let us know what it was and what you think in the comments!!

I bought the yellow flat sandals Sunday. They are awesome! Really wanted the platforms, but almost everything was completely sold out at my store – and online- by 10 AM Sunday (the day they introduced the line!). If you ever get an early heads up, it would be great to hear about this before something goes on sale. Thanks – I am really enjoying your blog. I check it every day! xo, Lisa
I love her vibrant color choices. Unfortunately I heard on the radio that her line has already sold out.
I got the gladiator wedges, and they’re super cute.
Yesterday I purchased the Cynthia Vincent for Target® Gladiator Wedge Sandals in Cognac http://tinyurl.com/y22yjrb.
In addition to being spot-trend-on, they look quite high-end, & are super comfy!
Paired them with a Mossimo breton-striped top http://tinyurl.com/yyob8vj & black pencil skirt, & Hollywood Intuition multi-chain necklace.
Love the brown/black combo.
And I’m sporting a 16-week baby bump!
Can’t believe Target is carrying her stuff now, though the shoes I like just sold out (go figure)
I am rockin’ the print wedges today! They are actually not uncomfortable and I have gotten several compliments on them!
When I bought them on Sunday morning, the salespeople were dumbfounded by the small group of women yammering about these shoes! Some had already been to multiple stores trying to find stock!
Can’t wait to get my hands on them! Or should I say my feet…
I just blogged about the CV printed wedges. They are super adorable! Target has a lot of really cute summer pieces. Hope they keep it up!
Thank you for this post. I just happened to go on your website today. As soon as I saw the multi-color wedge heel I had to have them. I lucked out and got a pair. They look so good on!! Thanks Again!!
Oh I like that fedora…..
Would love to try it on of course!!

I bought the multi-color wedges and the yellow flat sandals. I love them both! The wedges are irresistible! People always comment on them.
I need to go to Target ASAP to check out that cute fedora!
I ordered the printed wedges very early on-line on Sunday the 18th after seeing them featured in multiple magazines. They are so cute and surprisingly comfortable for $30! I also got the mint green fedora and the straw cloche with the green ribbon. All super cute for such a great price!
