I can’t tell you how excited I got when I realized that Converse made a thinner-soled, more feminine (although they do have them for guys!) Chuck Taylor sneaker (no seriously: how long have these been around? Does anyone know? I certainly haven’t seen them until now…), but with a sleeker silhouette! Presenting, the Converse…… Light!
Now, I absolutely LOVE Converse (one of my favorite outfits of all time is black leggings, black converse, and a baggy t-shirt), but sometimes that thick white sole isn’t quite what I had in mind… you know what I mean?
Not only does the diet edition have less of a “sneaker” feel, I think these would be adorable worn with a variety of looks: cut-offs or… with any shorts, really…with leggings too, no matter the style (looove ‘em in neutral for spring)!
Or you can do like Jennifer Aniston does and pair them with boyfriend jeans, a fedora, a casual T-shirt and a cute scarf for a carefree Sunday afternoon look. TOO cute!
With a price tag of around $45.00, I can’t think of one reason not to buy these. That’s right… the perfect spring shoe, ladies… right here!

They’ve been around for quite some time, but there hasn’t been much hype around them (no idea why not, they’re fab!). I have a pair and they honestly look good with EVERYTHING!

I saw them a few weeks ago at the mall and I absolutely love them! Definitely getting myself a pair ASAP.
I just can’t bring myself to buy any type or style of tennis shoe! Even my Sketchers look more like flats! I know they are comfy and they are popular right now, but I just can’t bring myself to wear them. BUT Jennifer Anniston is rocking these so much though, that I might just change my mind!

I think they’ve been around for about 2 years (or more) already… I picked up a pair early 2009 last year and I’m from Canada (and I think we get things later than you folks in the states). I agree that they are a much cuter alternative to the chunkier converse. They’re pretty awesome
