Deal of The Week: Flirty Forals — The CheapChica's Guide to Style

Deal of The Week: Flirty Forals

by cheapchica11 on March 5, 2010

Picture 2I’m not a fan of most floral prints…they bring back bad memories of the matching Laura Ashley bedspreads and window treatments I used to have in my room growing up!  But for Spring florals have gotten a serious makeover and this dress is the perfect example!!

I’m totally digging the retro-inspired silhouette, the peplum skirt and this print is right on trend…countless designers sent abstract, watercolor prints down their Spring 2010 runways.

Well now you can get a little bit of that runway action in your own closet for less than $25!! That’s right…it’s not a typo.  This adorable dress is only $24.80 so click fast because it’s a guaranteed sell-out!

I’m having trouble with the return to florals too, for the same reasons you name. I do like this dress…but, do you have other tips for making the look more current? Some of the trendy pieces out there even have the same shapes that were popular the last time the trend came around. How can I add a few pieces to my wardrobe without looking too reminiscent of actual outfits I used to wear?

socogrl-I agree with you. Have you considered doing the floral trend by accessorizing? Like a beautiful scarf, or something like that? Start small, see how it goes.
