Now that the groundhog has declared the end of Winter a mere 6 weeks away, it’s time for me to start making my Spring shopping list and on the very top of my list is a chambray shirt!
There’s are a ton of options out there…Old Navy has one for $26.50 and Heritage 1981 has one for $22 but the best one I’ve seen is this one from American Eagle. And although it retails for twice as much…it’s $44.50…in this case it might be worth spending the extra money! It’s super soft and the detail on the neck along with the snap pearl buttons (my fave!) make this look like a vintage, one-of-a-kind buy!
This is something that will become a staple in my wardrobe once the warmer months get here and I’d even use this as a cute bikini cover-up for my upcoming trip to Miami! But whether you pair it with a cute floral skirt or with a pair of shorts, this laid-back, western-inspired look is going to be a big hit for Spring!

gap had an adorable one with ruffles down the front this fall/winter but it is sold out and I can’t so much as find an image online anymore.

I’m so glad I saw this post before I went shopping today. It inspired me to buy a similar top from the Gap (on sale + a 40% discount for buying it today = $21). Plus, I got a scarf to wear during a cooler New York spring! Can’t wait to wear it.
