Street Styles: Valentine’s Day Edition — The CheapChica's Guide to Style

Street Styles: Valentine’s Day Edition

by cheapchica11 on February 13, 2010

Hello fellow Cheap Chicas! Valentine’s Day is almost here, and I know, I know that most people hate it, but it’s one of my favorite times of the year. For a girly-girl like me, the abundance of reds, pinks, hearts and chocolate is absolute heaven. That and I love having any excuse to dress up.

This week I’ve rounded up some of my favorite dressy/romantic looks, and I hope they serve as inspiration as you start planning your Valentine’s day look!

vdayoneThe little black dress gets a lovely lace overlay in look one, by natalieoffduty. Look two, by margiemermaid, wears a hot pink dress and heels with a leopard print cardigan. The end result is pretty and flirty, a perfect look for the holiday.

vday2In look three, cocorosa, wears a fun and funky look with knit heart sweater tights, a flowy, soft pink dress, faux fur coat and bowler hat. Look four, by irene_adler, wears dark high-waisted jeans and a pretty blouse for a dressy but casual look.

The bag is Anya Hindmarch, a store based in London. Look for the bag or other great pieces at http://www.anyahindmarch.com.

Love the blouse in the fourth pic. I won’t be wearing anything like these girly things – on Valentine’s day it’s the layered look with snow pants, turtlneck, fleece jacket and warm coat. Going snowshoeing in the Rocky Mountains. The only thing red I’ll have is my red velvet cupcakes.
