How totally amazing is this top? On this snowy winter day, I can’t help but think of soft, romantic pieces and how I can’t wait for this LOOOOONG winter to finally end so I can fill my closet with cute tops and shorts just like the ones pictured here.
This adorable top is only $24.80, but it looks like something you would only find at Barney’s or some super high-end boutique…and can I just say how much I love that the sleeves are see-through. It creates a nice overall balance of the high-neck and full lace body!
My only concern is that I couldn’t find one to try on in my local store, and from the picture it looks like the top goes straight down…but if you read the copy on the item description is says something about a “lightly smocked and elastic waistband”?
I might have to just risk it with this item b/c it just looks so damn cute in photo! But if you have this top, let me know!

I just bought the original shirt you had pictured. It’s adorable, and like you described, looks like it would cost way more then it actually does. Although, I paid $32.80 in a store in NY? As far as fit, I tried two on in the same size, and each fit differently, but it definitely hangs straight.
I saw the shirt in the picture about at Forever 21 at the store yesterday. I think it might be a different shirt than the one you linked to because the above shirt definitely does not have any elastic. It was really cute in person.
Live in Portland, OR and went to check out the top today. The one I found for sure had the elastic- not the straight front.
I thought because I work at forever 21 I could help you out : ) the link you have is actually a different top than the one that is in the picture. Both are sold in forever 21 stores, but the one in the picture isn’t online (although maybe in the future it will be). If you go to another Forever 21 store, ask an associate where their XXI Resort line is (not the boutique one) and it should be with that line if they have it. But to help you out even more take this number to the register and they can check their store to see if its in their inventory and if there are any other stores nearby that have it. The barcode on the tag is: 71344492024. and is priced at 34.80. I just bought the top and I hope this helps! I love it.

yessss, thanks kristina! since ive seen this blog post i’ve been to two forever21 stores with the resort line and haven’t seen it on the rack. i was too shy to ask specifically about it because asking if the store carries “that lacey top” is like asking if they have a black shirt. now that i have the barcode i’m going to hunt this down
i have this top and LOVE it! it is 100% silk and looks like it costs way more than the $32 price tag! It also comes in a longer version that can be worn as a tunic/dress.
I just got it! YAY! In love and can’t wait to wear it! =) PS: If you live in Philly or S.Jersey the F21 at Cherry Hill Mall has TONS of these on the rack!

I have this top! I love it, HOWEVER- the shell underneath is incredibly short, as is the lace top. It looks great with something higher waisted, or if you have an incredibly fit tummy (unlike myself). I’ve already worn it about 4 times though LOVE IT.
Am I way too late to find this top in stores? Has anyone still seen this item on the racks?
