While part of me finds the idea of these a little to Ice Capades-y the other part thinks they’re beyond fabulous and a must have!
These sparkly tights/glitter hose/call them what you want have gotten some serious air time over the last week with stars like J.Lo wearing them during her SYTYCD performance and SJP wearing them on the season finale of Watch What Happens Live.
They look amazing on both women, but as always, I wonder if they’re appropriate and even wearable for us regular folk?? My plan is to wear them for New Year’s Eve or for a black tie event I have coming up in January…but I’m not sure if they would work for just a normal night out.
I’m a huge fan of the textured tights movement and they’ve become an essential part of my winter wear, but what do you think? Are you into the sparkly legwear or should they be left on stage??

I love anything sparkly so I think the sparkly tights are great! that being said, I probably would feel a little self-conscious at first if I were to wear them out, but would get over it eventually
Hmm I love sparkly things but I don’t think they’re for us normal noncelebrity folks or at least not for everyday wear.
hmm good question. I think diamond one’s like JLo’s are for stage but the glitter ones that have the sheen in the fabric are fabulous for any fashionista. I also love the patterned hose trend, especially the lace ones, as I I have an obsession with lace and love new places to wear it!
totally need to be left on stage! I agree, a little Ice Capades for me, and dare I say it….a little “tranny show”! LOL (gosh that was SO rude!! lol) Just not my cup of tea!
Personally, I love them, but only for a wild night out or a big event like New Year’s! Where can you find them? I so want a pair! SO FUN!
Can’t…speak…barfing…
P.S. Holy boobs!
I think they are amazing. I think JLo’s would look good with a carefully chosen LBD
I think that the sparkly tights are fine for stage, but not for real life.
I think these are awesome. I’d rock them at a Christmas party.
