We always consider a ” t-shirt” something that’s not so fashionable, but trust me, it can be! You just have to know how to wear it and what to wear it with.
Weather it’s jeans, leggings, shorts or a skirt– a “t-shirt” will always look right. That is, if you accessorize it in a fashion forward way. There are so many tee’s out there that aren’t just your basic Hanes. Stores like Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, American Eagle and Delia’s have amazing options in the t-shirt department.
Instead of choosing a t-shirt that’s completely plain opt for something that has a print, sequins or a graphic element to it. This will create a look that’s fashion forward and comfy at the same time. And remember… you don’t have to pair everything with a blouse… a tee can be just as cute if not cuter and adding a chunky necklace, bangles or even a boyfriend blazer is an easy way to give your tee some high style.

My absolute favorite t-shirt is a plain white spandex Banana Republic tee that I bought at Goodwill for $2.79. Works great with the boyfriend blazer!
But this post has inspired me to prowl my resale shops looking for those unique tees that make a statement, so thanks for the info!
