Picture 2As you know, I’m all about comparison shopping for the best deals online, so when a new site comes on the scene that promises to make my shopping more efficient (and save me more money in the process) I’m totally game to try it!

The newest player in the comparison shopping game is Prontostyle.com and I had a chance to talk with their CEO, John Foley, to find out what makes this site so unique and why you need to try it!

Q: So there’s a lot of sites out there that offer this type of shopping experience, what makes Prontostyle.com different?

A: Until now, all of the major Comparison Shopping sites have only been able to offer a “one-size fits all” experience.  With ProntoStyle.com we are changing the way people shop by being the first to offer very Picture 6custom experiences focused on the exact needs of  the people who shop each of these sites.  We put a lot of effort into making the images and the user experience the best on the web.   We also give consumers the option of seeing 200 products per page, as we often heard from users that being able to browse quickly is an important part of the shopping experience.

Q: Now I love a sale and the faster I can get to it the better! How can users find the best deals on the site?

A: We offer a dedicated tab at the top of each result for “On Sale” products.  Certainly when you’re looking for products from some of these high-end brands, getting some sort of a discount can allow you to look good while softening the blow to the pocket book!

joiea2036913655_p1_v1_m56577569831783450_347x683…and like ShopItToMe.com, the site also has a built in “Sale Alert” so you can get deals on your favorite brands right in your inbox.  And for fellow bargain hunters, you’ll also really enjoy the ability to set your own price parameters on the side bar.  If you want to find a BF blazer for $5-15 you can type that in and they’ll all pop up.

My only cons…Forever 21–which has some of the best prices online–isn’t listed as a vendor…and the lack of a bookmark function on the site.  I would love a place to keep looks that are a “maybe”.

But it’s totally worth checking out and who doesn’t love another easy tool for saving money and exploring fashion??
