Bandage Skirts

Given the success he’s had at Herve Leger with his sexy and sultry bandgag dresses, Max Azria had decided to add a little of that Herve magic to his BCBG line in the form of  bandage skirts.

I’ve been lusting after an Herve dress for some time now…I’ve spent countless hours on Ebay, in my local consignment stores and even on the phone with Saks across the nation looking for one that doesn’t cost more than my rent, but to date…no such luck.

I went to BCBG to help my Mom look for a dress and lo and behold, an entire table of bandage skirts that look almost identical to the pricey Leger dresses!!  They even had that same horizontal seams that let’s you know it’s a Herve Leger dress!

I actually think the skirts are a much better buy because you can pair them with anything and you’ll get much more wear out of them than you would a fancy party dress.  And the best news?  The skirts are only $138 and while that’s still on the expensive side, it’s a whole lot less than you would spend on one of his iconic dresses!

I was also able to find some similar skirts for under $100 if you’re willing to downgrade just a tiny bit on the fabric.  Check out these buys for a similar look…

what do you think of the bandage dresses by Arden B and Guess by Marciano??
Has anyone seen them in person, any comments on fabric? I wanted to order one online but wasn’t too sure!
