Earlier this week Lauren (my fabulous assistant and fellow fashionista) got to try out a pair of jeans and now it’s my turn…
I took out two different pairs of Vanity jeans for test drive and I have to say that I’m quite impressed with the results! I look for three things when it comes to jeans: Fit, Wash and Comfort. No matter how good they make my butt look, I’m not buying them unless they feel like I want to live in them for days!!
I tried out the Kennedy Premium jeans first and while I loved the gray color, the demin was a little too rough for my taste. It needed a little more stretch to have that really soft feeling, but I’m sure that after a few washes they would be really really nice! These retail for $49.80 and they also come in several washes and styles and as part of their premium collection, they also have some super cute details on the pockets! If you’re looking for the look of a really high-end Japanese denim then these are a great option!!
Next I tried on the Kennedy Skinny jeans in the Dark wash and I was in total disbelief! I always have to hem my jeans (and all pants for that matter) but this pair with the 30″ inseam was just perfect! If you’re petite, these is a great jean for you and since it’s a juniors cut you can count on the fact that they will fit. I put on the 24’s and they were snug in all the right places but not too tight…they also made my butt look fab (according to my hubby)! This pair is even less than the Premium pair and for under $35 I don’t think you’ll find a better pair of skinny jeans out there!
And my only real complaint was that I wish the fade wasn’t so drastic on the the thighs of this wash…but I can live with it since the fit was superb! You can check out the rest of their denim selection which includes various inseams, fits, and washes right at eVanity.com!

Kennedy 5pkt Vanity Jeans: Multiple Washes with the 30″ inseam in the dark wash is perfect. They look like a pair of jeans I used to LIVE in. the 98% cotton and 2% spandex makes for an amazing fit and the wash is wonderful. I like that there is a slight bellbottom because I am short and it is hard for me to find jeans with a shorter inseam let alone a bellbottom/bootcut that isn’t so over the top and noticeable. They are flattering yet understated and that is what makes these jeans perfect for a 5 foot 2″ fashionista!
I adore the Vigoss 3 Button Tab Jeans: Dark Wash with the 33″ inseam! Every pair of jeans I have worn with the 3 button tab have been flattering and so comfy. The released hem gives them a very cool versatile look, they would look great with platform heels or just black Converse All-Stars. I am a huge fan of skinny jeans but I think it could be fun to experiment with these super flares.
Wow. Kennedy Skinny Premium Vanity Jeans: Blasted Wash
33″ Inseam. They are beautiful. I have a really hard time finding gorgeous, affordable skinny jeans. I love how dark they are and they way the blasted wash looks. These are great!

I’m another person who thinks the dark washed pair of the Kennedy Vanity Skinny would be great to have. A 30 inch inseam and in a larger size such as 32 is perfect.
I’m in between the Kennedy Skinny Vanity Jeans: Medium Wash
30″ Inseam and the Dark Wash. I love dark denim but I agree I think the wash down the thighs is too light and too much of a contrast in the Dark Wash. The interesting part is that the dark wash is $5 cheaper than the Medium Wash. Hmm decisions, decisions!
I’m petite too, and always have jeans that look great in heels but are way too long to wear with sneaks, and the waist never fits well. I’d LOVE a pair of the Kennedy Skinny Vanity Jeans: Dark Wash 30″ Inseam- I’ve always been too intimidated to try and wear skinnies before! Thanks for the tip-off!

Being petite, I have a rotten time trying to find jeans that fit. I would love to try the Kennedy 5pkt Vanity Jeans in Medium Denim with the 30″ Inseam. It would make my day to find a pair of jeans that did not drag 4 inches every time a took a step. For a size, I think I wear a 27.

Well its hard…I love the Vigoss jeans best b/c of the unique off center buttons, but the flare is too big for me, I’d want them in a skinny jean. With that in mind

I love the Kennedy Skinny Premuim Jean in the gray wash. Size 27 with 33 inseam. I have been looking for a pair of gray jeans but the pairs I’ve tried have been too stiff. The spandex in this pair seems like it will help with the feel and wear of the jean. Thanks for sharing the site.

35″ Inseam! I just bought a pair last night and they are so comfortable. I am 5′8” and I have a tough time finding jeans that are comfortable, flattering, and long enough, but that Dakota jeans do just that. I feel so confident in these jeans as compared to others. I have so happy with my purchase, I am going back next week to buy another Dakota pair.

Reading portions of this posting gave me a small feeling of deja vu. I am a bit on the short side, but I also have some curves I must fit into my jeans. The Kennedy Skinny Vanity Jeans: Dark Wash: 30″ Inseam are great on my figure. I get a little play in the length and there is enough stretch to be absolutely comfortable on my curves. More often than not, it is difficult for me to find a comfortable skinny jean that looks good; these jeans definitely do the trick. The dark wash has a slimming effect and looks great with my bright-colored shirts. The kennedy skinny jean is my PERFECT FIT and I would recommend them to any of my friends or acquaintances : ]
However, if I was to choose a second place contender, the Samantha fit, dark wash come very close! Nice and relaxed!

HATE the Kennedy’s. Skinny is not a good fashion look when you have a bigger butt and thighs. Makes ya look like a pear. Gotta be super stick thin with no butt or hips to make them look good.
My fav’s are the Dakota Frey premium denim. I wish they came in a 31″ inseam since I’m short. But they are sooo dang adorable that I’ll cough up the extra $10 for the premiums, plus the extra $10 to get them hemmed up.

I love the Dakota fits, they fit just perfect for my waiste and my heighth. I just got the dakota premium denim and have fallen in love with it. I usually wear a 37 length jean but was able to buy a 33 lenght cause they are long they fit just right on my butt and I love the dark color. It’s a very soft denim and very comfy to wear

I work right next door to Vanity in our mall, and I always direct people there to find jeans when they can’t find them in my store!! I’ve lived in Vanity jeans for years now, I don’t think I own a pair that ISN’T from that store! My fave is definitely the Dakota. They fit fantastic, stretch out just perfect, and are plenty long for a tall girl like me (yay 35 inch inseam!!)!!
