Definitely the pink, blue, and white striped dress, with the buttons on the front. Talk about versatility: uber cute for a day outside, a hot date at night, or for work when paired with a cardigan! This is what I’d call a Jack-of-all-trades dress! Perfection!
It is so hard to pick, but I love the aldmondin whipped creme scarf and the blue baguio festival dress…since that one is sold out, maybe the rose pasedena dress.

It’s difficult … I limited my choices to 3 dresses: flora embroidery grecian, norwegian kimono and panthera pinion chiffon. I love the bold color combinations and the simplicity of silhouettes.
the first time i visited the ruche site i fell in LOVE! it’s like a vintage store full of treasures meets anthropologie, with some attitude (at a low price point too!)

I love, love, love the “under the willow tree” scarf in green and the “sailing stripes” button dress – I’d throw them together with my pair of brown vintage wingtips. Mmmm. However, the best part is that they are the kind of pieces that one can wear all year round – a San Franciscan’s dream!

I love Shop Ruche! I happen to stumble upon Cheap Chica’s, and thankfully I did because I found Shop Ruche! I love every piece; the clothes are the perfect blend of feminine vintage wear at GREAT prices. I go to college in Philadelphia and have not yet been able to find comparable vintage looking clothing at these prices. I’m on my way to Grad school and have found these pieces to be complimentary to my style, taste, and maturing look. Each time I get a paycheck, I set aside some of it so I can save up to buy a new piece. If I won the $50 gift card I would have a hard time choosing just one item, but if I had to, I would buy the pink Iris Giverny Garden dress with the brass leaf earings. I love almost every style featured in the LookBook, but my choice would have to be the Rosy Mauve Simply Organic Dress. It not only looks adorable, but I’ve found that organic fabrics are very comfortable to wear, making this dress an all-around favorite of mine. The rest of the $50 I would use to accessorize the outfit
With $50 from ruche, I would buy… ah! So many choices. Well, I think that I would opt to accessorize. I know that I won’t need tights for much longer, but it’s always good to stock up; I’d definitely get the forest green opaque tights. Then I think I’d get the nightingale flight necklaces…and I’d still have some left. Oh my. Or, maybe I’d just buy a dress. They are all lovely. Everything is lovely!

In two weeks, I’m giving a presentation on cyborgs in comic books in New Orleans at the Popular Culture Association Conference, and if I had a $50 gift card I would use it to buy a whole cool outfit for my presentation–because even though I love cyborgs, I don’t necessarily want to dress like one.
My favorite look is the “a wrinkle in time ivory dress” with the “mustredevilliars grey tapestry coat.” I’d accessorize the outfit with the “nightingale flight necklace,” “under the willow tree scarf in green” and the
“turquoise beaded cuff bracelet.” I’d also pick up the “faux salak skin strech belt” to cinch in the dress for my presentation, to really pull it together. I’d pair all this with my white opaque Foot Traffic tights and Irregular Choice Mermaid Pumps. I think this outfit would look great for my presentation, but also walking around New Orleans.

I would choose the Kara Ella wrap dress. This is the perfect dress for so many reasons.
1) The classic wrap style is perfect for any figure! DVF is celebrating 50 years and she made the wrap dress a staple for all women. So you can’t go wrong with this affordable version. With a $50 gift card, it’ll end up being less than 5 bucks!!
2) The neutral color is perfect! Wear it anytime (day/night), any season (spring/fall), for any occasion (work/play). Add a splash of color with a cami underneath or with some great shoes.
3) The details are subtle yet they work! The ribs along the collar bring attention to the face and the sleeves appear to have some small gathers for a feminine touch.
4) It’s eco-friendly! Made from soy beans! I had heard of this fiber but had yet to see it!

If I had to pick just one thing I’d without a doubt go for the country cotter dress due to its beautiful color and cute fit. I search their website EVERYDAY to see if there are any updated New Arrivals or Sale items. =) I’ve never found a store or website before that is so pleasantly priced, and also fits my style to a tee. There is nothing that I do not love about Ruche.
If I were given $50 dollars to spend, I would buy the Roses in the Dust Dress, paired with the Coral Moondrop Swarovski Earrings. I’ve had my eye on these items for awhile now =)
